Introducing industry leading sires to our Charolais herd is important for our business. From an initial trial about 15 years ago when we knew almost nothing about AI, we now do our annual insemination programme with Northern Artificial Breeders in November/December. Brendan and his team have been with us all the way and we could never have done it without them. We now get a core of predictable calving dates with bloodlines selected for desired outcomes.
The process works with a minimum of fuss and absolute reliability. Our success rates are generally about industry average but last year considerably better than that and the coming drop have shown very few signs of cycling. We are certainly happy to recommend Northern Artificial Breeders.
